How old is trevor bayne mother
One of the first things you find out very quickly about Bayne is his total dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. He gave all credit and glory to God in his first Fox media interview after his win, something that he regularly does in conversations with others. Trevor has been living on his own in Charlotte since he was He had to have his crew chiefs come and pick him up at his apartment and drive him to the track, since he couldn't even legally drive on the streets when he first started racing.
He comes from a family of racers. His father, Rocky, was a stock car racer. Bayne also went to Gibbs, which is also Kenny Chesney's alma mater, before finishing his high school studies at home and online while he was racing. Now Trevor has made himself a sensation, and his fame is destined to be legendary. He became the youngest person to win the Daytona by a huge margin, having just celebrated his 20th birthday yesterday.
Jeff Gordon, at nearly age 26, had been the previous youngest Daytona winner. All those things. Some of the biggest help Stephanie received after her son's improbable victory at Daytona came from a friend at a local television station.
Stephanie has albums and albums filled with photos of Trevor, ranging from when he worked alongside his grandfather as a tot, all the way to shots from his first career Sprint Cup race last year.
But she didn't have a clue how to conveniently share them with those making the endless media requests that have slowed down, but certainly haven't come to a halt. Her friend stepped in, took all the albums, converted them onto discs and told Stephanie to forget about it.
It was just like the aunts and uncles who have stepped in to fill various needs while Rocky and Stephanie attempted to maintain a normal existence as working adults and parents of two other younger children. This might have been a more overwhelming position for the Baynes had they not already been accustomed to the whirlwind lifestyle of a NASCAR family. Since Trevor started piling up the trophies that Rocky keeps in his basement, which also doubles as a workout room, the family's weekends have typically been hectic.
Rocky has never missed a lap of any of Trevor's races, but that has come with a cost. Time at work and, more importantly, with his family has been minimized to an unsavory level at times. Now that the Baynes' youngest child, 7-year-old Tray, wants to follow in older brother's tire marks and cut his teeth behind the wheel of a go-kart, the time management challenge has become even more difficult.
For last week's races in Las Vegas, Rocky stayed in Knoxville for Tray's go-kart debut before hopping on a plane early the next morning just in time to catch Trevor finish fifth in the Nationwide race. It's going to be hard to make that same kind of commitment to Tray that we made with Trevor.
